Parking Permits (Residential and Business)
Please note: This process has changed for the 2024 Season
Residential parking permits are required for on street parking in the Pier area and Scarborough Hills during the summer season and are issued by the Narragansett Municipal Court. Restrictions are in effect from May 15 to September 15. The town ordinance does not allow for the Municipal Court or the Narragansett Police Department to issue daily permits to town residents or visitors for special events in these areas.
Residential parking permit applications can be completed HERE beginning on May 1st. Proper documentation is required, including driver's license, current vehicle registration and a lease or proof of property ownership. Business owners will also apply online through the link above beginning May 1st. Once the application has been submitted and reviewed you will be notified by the Municipal Court when the passes are ready for pickup.
