The Town Clerk's Office is responsible for recording all deeds, mortgages, liens, releases, etc. pertaining to property located in the Town of Narragansett, and keeps a permanent record and general index of those records in accordance with RIGL§ 34-13-1, 34-13-5. All documents presented for recording must be originals or certified copies. Documents are recorded until 4:00 PM daily.

Copies of Recorded Documents
Recorded documents are considered public records and copies of these records can be obtained from the Clerk's Office. The cost to copy recorded documents is $1.50 per page. If certified copies are required, the cost is $3 per document and $1.50 per page.
