Mobile Integrated Health - Community Paramedicine

We invite you to consider additional ride time with one of our Community Paramedicine/Mobile Integrated Health (MIH-CP) providers. MIH-CP represents the future of EMS in America, and Narragansett is at the forefront of this innovative approach. Our MIH-CP team focuses on promoting aging in place and preventing hospitalizations and readmissions.

We encourage students who are planning multiple ride-along days to consider spending one of those days with our MIH-CP providers on a Tuesday or Thursday. This unit not only provides proactive healthcare but also responds to emergencies when necessary.

Submitted Applications:

Completed applications will receive an email stating that your application was received and is being sent to the department's chief for approval. Incomplete applications will not be considered or sent along for approval. This includes missing signatures or missing any one of the items in #2 of the application packet

Once your application is approved, the EMS coordinator will send you an email with available dates when you can conduct your ride time. These will be based on the availability you provided and the ride-along requirements you provided. Please confirm that you are still available on these dates.

All Ride-Along students are to report to Narragansett Fire Station #1 , 40 Casewell st, by 0800 on their scheduled day

We appreciate your interest in riding with the Narragansett Fire Dept! We hope to see you on the streets of Narragansett soon!
