Fire Suppression Division

The Narragansett Fire Department's Fire Suppression Division is dedicated to protecting lives and property from fire hazards. Our highly trained firefighters respond to emergency calls, extinguish fires, and perform rescue operations. Emergency Medical Services Division

The Narragansett Fire Department's Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Division provides advanced life support and emergency medical care to our community. Our EMT-Cardiacs  are equipped to handle a wide range of medical emergencies, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions. We are committed to providing prompt, compassionate, and professional medical care to those in need.

Marine Operations Division

The Narragansett Fire Department's Marine Operations Division is responsible for water rescue and emergency response on Narragansett Bay. Our specially trained marine firefighters and rescue swimmers operate state-of-the-art fireboat and jet skis equipped with advanced firefighting and rescue equipment. We are prepared to respond to a variety of marine emergencies, including boat fires, water rescues, and hazardous material spills.

Fire Prevention Division

The Narragansett Fire Department's Fire Prevention Division is dedicated to educating the public about fire safety and preventing fires from occurring. Our fire prevention officers conduct fire safety inspections, investigate fire incidents, and provide educational programs to schools, businesses, and community organizations. We work tirelessly to reduce the risk of fire and create a safer community for everyone.
