Free Blood Pressure Screenings
Blood pressure screenings are free and available at all three stations. All you need to do is stop in at a convenient time for you.

Fire Safety For Kids
You can never be too young to learn fire safety. We show age appropriate videos, demonstrate what it would be like in a fire, and allow a hands-on tour of the fire and rescue vehicles to teach fire safety to children. The national fire safety week is in October and many
teachers take the opportunity to come and see us. Call (401) 789-1000 to schedule a time.

If you need a class sooner or want to take it online at your convenience, the American Heart Association offers online classes. After finishing the online portion of the course, you must complete a hands-on session with an AHA training center to receive a course completion card. As a training center the Narragansett Fire Department is more than happy to assist with this part at no charge.

Here are some of the classes they offer and the links. After purchasing the online course and completing it you can email Capt Kevin McEnery to schedule a Hands-on Session.
