2. The primary objective of the Narragansett Fire Department is the protection of human life and property from fire, the prevention and suppression of fire, and to provide emergency medical service to the Town of Narragansett. In addition, it shall be the prompt duty of the Fire Department to remove or cause the removal of all persons from danger whatever the cause whenever humanly possible.
