[ARCHIVED] Zoning Board of Review Public Hearing - September 18, 2025

NOTICE is hereby given that a Public Hearing by and before the Zoning Board of Review of the Town of Narragansett is scheduled for Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at the Narragansett Town Hall, 25 Fifth Avenue, to consider and act upon the following applications:

Appeal: Kearney, Plat A, Lot 113, 39 Starr Drive, of a Notice of Violation of the Town’s zoning ordinances issued by the Zoning Official, at the above referenced property. 

Gibson Court Condominium Association, Plat E, Lot 34-CM, Gardencourt Drive, to amend a condition from a previous Zoning Board approval dated March 18, 1987, at the above referenced property. 

Cherry, Plat S, Lot 32, 48 Walcott Avenue, for relief under Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, entitled ‘Zoning’, specifically Variances from the Dimensional Regulations (Section 6.4) to demolish the existing one-story dwelling to construct a two-story modular dwelling at the above referenced property. 

Parrillo, Plat R-2, Lot 350, 36 Mollusk Drive, for relief under Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, entitled ‘Zoning’, specifically a Variance and Special Use Permit from the Coastal Resources Overlay District (Section 4.4), and a Variance from the Dimensional Regulations (Section 6.4) to demolish the existing dwelling and construct a 3-bedroom dwelling at the above referenced property.

Nero, Plat N-R, Lot 283, 80 Onondega Road, for relief under Chapter 731 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Narragansett, entitled ‘Zoning’, specifically a Special Use Permit for Homes Exceeding Four Bedrooms (Section 12.23), a Special Use Permit for an Accessory Structure Over 16 Feet (Section 7.3) and Variances from Dimensional Regulations (Section 6.4) to add a second floor to the existing rear yard garage and an associated right side second story deck with stairs at the above referenced property.

Said petitions are on file in the office of Community Development in the Town Hall and available for review during regular office hours. Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify the Department of Community Development at 401-782-0632, 48-hours in advance of the hearing date.
