NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF NARRAGANSETT
WASTWATER FACILITIES PLAN UPDATE
Public Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Narragansett will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 PM on Monday, August 4, 2025 in the Town Council Chamber, Town Hall, 25 Fifth Avenue, Narragansett, RI 02882, in accordance with RI Department of Environmental Management wastewater facilities planning requirements.
The purpose of this hearing is to allow the public the opportunity to provide comments on record on the draft Wastewater Facilities Plan. The Wastewater Facilities Plan evaluates the Town’s wastewater needs and projections for the next 20-year planning period to establish updated solutions for achieving RI Department of Environmental Management water quality objectives. The draft Wastewater Facilities Plan will be available for public review at the Town Engineering Department Office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. beginning July 18, 2025 through August 4, 2025 and on the Town’s website at www.narragansettri.gov.
The public hearing transcript, responses to comments, and any revisions to the draft document will be incorporated into the final Wastewater Facilities Plan submitted to RI Department of Environmental Management for approval.
Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must call 782-0626 seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the meeting date.
