The Harbor Management Commission is a nine member Town advisory body that is responsible for the development of the Town of Narragansett Harbor Management Plan. The Harbor Management Commission is also charged with developing appeals procedures, providing other recommendations in regard to harbor and coastal resource issues, and working with the Harbor master recommending additional policies, rules and regulations for the implementation of the Harbor Management Plan subject to Town and State approval.

The Harbor Management Commission has seven (7) members serving three-year terms and two (2) alternate members serving one-year terms.
