Witness Statement form If you have been the victim or witness to an incident or possible crime, you can down load the  and return it to the station.
VACANT HOUSE CHECK SHEET If you fill this out and get it to the station an officer will periodically check your home while you are away.  It is important to tell us on this sheet if you are expecting any legitimate visitors while you are away and who an emergency key holder is in the event of a problem at the residence.
BUSINESS INFORMATION FORM If you own a business, this is an important form that you need to fill out.  All of this information is loaded into our CAD – Computer Aided Dispatch – system.  It also serves to aid in locating your business and ensures a rapid response by our officers to the problem at your business.  It also collects information that would be used in the event of a fire emergency.
ALARM PERMIT – The Town of Narragansett has an alarm ordinance which requires that all homes and businesses obtain a permit for alarms.  The cost of the alarm permit is $20.00 per year.  The second page of this form had additional information concerning the ordinance and your responsibilities.

As part of our Community Policing Effort we also provide the following services

VIN Checks – Any vehicle that is less that ten (10) years old and has an out of State title needs to have the VIN – Vehicle Identification Number – verified in order to have the car registered in Rhode Island.  We provide this service to any Narragansett Residents.  The fee is $10.00.  Please call the station for an appointment . 401-789-1091. You will need to bring, the title for the car (unless it is held by a bank or finance company), and the current registration certificate.

RECORDS CHECKS : The Narragansett Police Department also provides records checks and Fingerprint appointments in accordance with Rhode Island General Laws for Narragansett residents or employees of any public or private school department in the Town of Narragansett.
