Tennis Open House
Narragansett Parks and Recreation will hold a Tennis Open House on Saturday, June 22nd at the Sprague Tennis Building on Kingstown Road, 9:00am-1:00pm. Information and registration for Session 2 will be available and Peter Barlow and staff will be on site to answer any questions.
Independence Day Beach Party
The Independence Day Beach party is scheduled for Wednesday, July 3rd on Narragansett Beach. The festivities will start mid-day with fun filled activities taking place on the beach, followed by a free public performance of The 88th Army Band at 5:00 pm on the deck of the North Beach Clubhouse. The festivities and the band will continue into the evening culminating with a spectacular fireworks display at 9:00 pm.
2013 Summer Concert Series at the Gazebo
Do you like listening to great music? Do you like the outdoors? Then we have the perfect place for you! Come join us at Gazebo Park for our weekly summer concert series. Each week offers a different artist with a wide variety of music styles. Whether it’s jazz, country, blues or contemporary, you will find it here. Concerts are held Friday evenings beginning at 6:00pm.

37th Annual Performance of the RI Philharmonic

Rain date: Saturday, July 13th
The festivities will take place on Narragansett Beach at the North Beach Clubhouse starting with a performance of the Notables at 7:30 pm followed by the Rhode Island Philharmonic at 8:00 pm. The two hour concert has been a time honored tradition in Narragansett for 36 years. We are pleased and proud to be able to continue this tradition and bring this wonderful concert to our residents and visitors of Narragansett.
10th Annual Environmental Awareness Day

The Town of Narragansett is partnering with the Rhode Island River Council to host the 10th Annual Environmental Awareness Day at the Narragansett Town Beach. Environmental organizations from all over the State set up information displays and talk to beach-goers about RI's natural resources and offer fun and educational activities for kids.
3rd Annual Waterman Eco Challenge

This event is dedicated to raising awareness toward Ocean & Sun Safety. There will be 3 & 5 mile open ocean paddle races (stand up & prone) as well as lifesaving & sun awareness tents. This event is hosted by Narragansett Surf Rescue and co-sponsored by "Big Wave World Champion Garret McNamara & Hawaiian Lifesavers".
