    The buffet begins at noon with a reading of the children's classic, Stone Soup, followed by a soup buffet featuring soups from various Narragansett and South Kingstown restaurants. There is no admission charge, but please bring a non-perishable food or personal hygiene item which will be donated to a local food pantry.     On Pettaquamscutt: Presentations of the Environment and the History of the Narrow River Watershed presents URI Emeritus Professor of Ocean Engineering Dr. Malcolm Spaulding and Hurricane Sandy Resiliency Coordinator for the US Fish and Wildlife Service Dr. Jennifer White on "Improving the Health of the Narrow River Estuary." Dr. White will describe recent efforts to restore the salt marshes in Narrow River and Dr. Spaulding will discuss a recent study he led on the impact of dredging in the lower river to increase circulation within the estuary. Space is limited and participants are requested to register to reserve a seat at the library calendar and registration site (http://www.narlib.org).
